Clearwater Public Library System is Celebrating Teen Read Week with Short Story Contest

CLEARWATER, Fla. – Teens can celebrate Teen Read Week by entering a Short Story Contest held at all Clearwater Public Library System branches. All entries need to be submitted by Oct. 31. Teen Read Week is Oct. 18 – 24.

Stories must be 1000 words or less and typed. Topics should be personal stories or original fiction. Entries will be judged in one of two categories: 6-8 grades and 9-12 grades. One winner in each category will win a $100 gift card. Winners will be notified by Nov. 6.

Entries must be submitted with a signed entry form which can be picked up at any Clearwater library branch or found at www.myclearwater.com/cpl. For more information, call (727) 562-4970.
